A collection of three novellas. All the novellas in the Darcy and Elizabeth What If? series are separate, standalone stories. They can be read in any order. Contains Mr Darcy's Valentine, A Ball at Pemberley and Mr Darcy's Waterloo

#7 Mr Darcy's Valentine
What if Mr Darcy had been able to relive the day of his disastrous first proposal?
When Mr Darcy brings forward his visit to Rosings, he finds that Elizabeth has brought her visit forward, too, and he proposes on February 13th. After she rejects him he wishes his day undone, and a chuckle from a cupid ornament signals the start of some very unusual events. For Mr Darcy cannot progress to Valentine's Day until he has won the love of Elizabeth Bennet.

#8 A Ball At Pemberley
What if Mr Darcy's parents had not died?
With his parents still alive, Mr Darcy never stays at Netherfield Park. So when Elizabeth Bennet tours Pemberley with her aunt and uncle, she mistakes him for a steward. Dressed in rough clothes suitable for riding round his father's muddy estate, he looks nothing like the arrogant master's son! But at the Pemberley ball, Elizabeth learns her mistake, and she also learns that Mr Darcy is engaged to an heiress. When they meet again at the spa town of Buxton, they have a chance to find true happiness, but only if they can overcome the obstacles put in their way by Mr Darcy's father and by Mr Wickham.

#9 Mr Darcy's Waterloo
What if Mr Darcy's first proposal had taken place in 1815? And what if Mr Darcy and Elizabeth had met again in Brussels, where they were caught up in the Battle of Waterloo?

Darcy and Elizabeth What If? Collection 3 edition by Jennifer Lang Romance eBooks

Exciting plot, sweet, clean and romantic.

Mr Darcy's valentine:
After the disastrous proposal on February 13. Mr Darcy wishes to never experience valentines day before Elizabeth loves him. He gets his wish and February 13. repeats itself until he gets it right. 3 stars

The Pemberley ball:
Elizabeth haven't met Mr Darcy before the northern tour with the Gardiners. Meeting him for the first time at Pemberley, she mistakes him for the steward. He doesn't correct her because he wants her to like him for himself rather than his wealth. His father has other plans though and he finds himself betrothed to a lady not of his choosing. Elizabeth discover that the man she thought was the steward is in fact the heir and the betrayal sends her into the company of Mr Wickham. This story has a lovely level of tension and suspense. The way Elizabeth discover Mr Wickhams true nature was inventive. Both of Darcy's parents are alive in this story which was unique. 4 stars.

Mr Darcy's waterloo:
Mr Darcy follows his cousin to Brussels to forget his disastrous proposal at Hunsford. Elizabeth is also on her way since Lydia is in Brussels with the Forsters and Elizabeth has asked her aunt Gardiners aid in curbing Lydia. Darcy spots Elizabeth on the ship to Brussels in the arms of Mr Wickham as she stumbles when the ship pitches and Mr Wickham catches her before she falls. Darcys falls under the misapprehension that Elizabeth and Wickham are married. This is also a story with a lovely level of tension and suspense. 4 stars.

What I really missed in these stories was an epilogue or at least a bit of their happiness after they reach an understanding. They all end rather abruptly after they get engaged.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading them and have no qualms in recommending this book.

Darcy and Elizabeth What If? Collection 3 edition by Jennifer Lang Romance eBooks Reviews

Imaginative and fun to read but needed some good editing and proofing. Otherwise I would have rated it 5 stars.
This is a great book. I love these pride and prejudice variation books. I get so wrapped up in the personalities of the characters. I really enjoyed Mr. Darcys Valentine and the ball at Pemberley, they were fun to read. I have now finished all 13 books in the series and I loved every one of them. Thank you for writing them.
The book has unconventional what if situations. The author doesn't try to cover all the things happening in the original and maintains the flow of the new what if situation...
Good book!!!!
The first two of the three are clever and well written. The second was more realistic than the first, but the first was cute. Darcy's Waterloo had ore mistakes in it and was less interesting to me.
I enjoyed the story lines of all three. Some misunderstandings between ODC, but not too much angst or villainy. Many errors with wrong words, etc. were VERY distracting and annoying, especially in the last story.
Enyoed some happy hours with these storys
I enjoyed the variations with good plots. There were some spelling errors but they didn't take away from the plot
