I can tell the author got his friends to rate his book. It is very poorly written by someone for whom English is not a familiar skill. The author apparently understands Arduino, but the effort to read it is herculean. I wish I had my money back. Not worth reading for free.Product details

Arduino is a microcontroller which has an open-source platform. You can do so many things with an Arduino. For example, it's a common way to start electronics in classrooms. You'll get a complete step-by-step Arduino guide with this book.
No diagrams or photos. Got it from the library and returned it the same day.
I read the glowing reviews, but I must have gotten a scrambled download or my Fire just doesn't format this correctly. The text and program listings are all jumbled together such that this e-book is totally unusable.
Written in very broken English, almost impossible to follow. I couldn't get past the sentence,
"This phase will assume you've got a computer going for walks windows or a mac strolling osx (10.three.nine or later)"
That is a direct quote from the getting started page. Obviously substituted "going for walks" and "strolling" for the term running. Funny, but it doesn't work.
I would not recommend this book.
Ok... I don't know why gave this book has high ratings but there are so many grammatical errors in it, that it's a nightmare to read and understand. I'm only 10 pages in and can't help but wonder if it was written in another language and translated with a computer program and not reviewed and edited. Very glad I was able to get it for free. This is almost impossible to understand.

I'm going to start by saying that I'm still working through the examples. They seem to be thorough.
This book is made somewhat difficult to use because of thesauretical translations. Like reading a French-English guidebook and messing up all the idioms.
